My name is Manuel Torrinha, an information systems engineer who is working & living in Lisbon, Portugal.

I have more than 10 years of experience in managing GNU/Linux environments. I majored in Distributed Systems and minored in Software Engineering, while doing my MSc at Instituto Superior Técnico, in Lisbon, during which I have had the privilege of working along the lines of High Performance Computing, data analysis and IT management and administration.

I learned several programming, scripting and markup languages such as BASH, Python, C, LaTeX, SQL, HTML, PHP, Java, YAML, among others. I also speak Portuguese and English.
